Self-Care... Me Time.... phrases we see popping up all over. Its great that people are starting to look more at their health and well-being, however we need to start to be more pro-active with this, we seem to be waiting for chaos and when we are in a time of stress to then think "you know what i need? i need some re-balance, some me time, i need to start taking more care of myself, my health". Meditation is a great practice to incorporate into your every day life. You can do meditation in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening, before bed or even standing in a que or for a few moments at your desk!! Just giving yourself that time out of every day hectic life, where your brain is chaotic and constantly thinking, to just let your brain settle down and rest, be still without thought. You can experience a shift of how you start to deal with things that come your way and feel more clarity. Meditation has become such an important part of my life, I can't wait to teach others of this great power and understand just how to use it, how to be still and how to reap those benefits!! Meditation is great to deal with stressful times, bringing peace and calmness and enable you to deal more effectively with things that come your way, you can also use it as a coping mechanism.


There are lots of studies out there on the benefits of meditation, one in particular, a study on Transcendental Meditation, which is mantra meditation, showed that one 20-minute meditation can lower your cortisol (stress) levels by 30 percent!!


Do you ever feel a little out of control in your life?

Do you feel stressed out at least once in your day?

Do you have feelings of exhaustion?

Do you have trouble sleeping?

Do you feel irrational at times, like you just can’t ground your thoughts?

These are all symptoms of being out of alignment with our source energy, we are not grounded, we feel unbalanced and unable to deal effectively with the pressures of our day and what ever life throws at us. Using meditation as a daily practice can help you in all these areas, and bring about more awareness of ourselves, feel more purposeful, align our mind, body and spirit. We build up our positive energy, and if you're a follower of "the law of attraction" you will understand the greatness of building up our vibrational energy levels and become an attractor for what we want to attract into our lives. Meditation will help to shift your thought patterns and energy into something great.

I am running weekly "Meditation and Energy Re-Balance Classes"

6:20 - 7:20pm


Meditation is about training the brain to be in the present moment, by clearing out thoughts and quieting your mind so you can emerge with renewed energy and clarity. It can help to: ❤ reduce stress 💚bring inner calm and sense of well-being 💜improve your attention 💛cultivate self awareness 🧡master your emotions 💗can help to recognise spiritual guidance and enlightenment Please wear something comfortable and bring a small cushion (if not don't worry I have spares!) This class is for anyone who wants to start their meditation practice and for those who wish to continue their practice in a group setting. We will be looking mainly at Zen/Buddhist meditations and also visualisation meditations, but will be different each week and may potentially look into other practices. We will also be doing some energy re-balancing exercises. I look forward to seeing you there!
