New Year... New Intentions

A brand new year is almost upon us, it is an ideal time to set some brand new intentions for the year ahead! Wondering how to set intentions? take these easy steps to help you...


Unlike resolutions, intention-setting focuses less on goals and more on the journey which leads to certain outcomes.


1) sit down in a quiet place, think about the year that has been, self-reflect looking at what you have achieved, your emotions, perhaps what you have not yet achieved, your journey, what brings you joy?


2) after reflecting start to look at your desires for this upcoming year, what your goals are and make a clear statement about each one - you could write this down


3) a well-set intention will give you a kick-start in becoming aligned


4) Release any doubts or negativity you have about achieving your attentions, your mind is powerful, going on the law of attraction


5) give thought to each individual intention, pray or meditate on each one


6) Create a short mantra that you can use as your daily reminder


7) trust yourself and trust that the Universe has your back!


8) optional - once you have wrote down all your intentions put them in a safe place, maybe a box, and a week or so later take each one out, read it out loud and burn each one (safely, suggest doing this over the sink) this shows your trust that the Universe is taking care of your intention
